I believe in a client-centred approach that focuses on empathy, authenticity, and respect.
The Blue Gate is a safe space for you to explore your emotions, thoughts, and experiences without fear of judgment. My goal is to help you heal, grow, and thrive in your personal and professional relationships.
I am dedicated to providing counselling services that are tailored to your individual needs, whether it's through one-to-one sessions, telephone conversations, or online support. I am committed to helping you navigate through life's challenges and develop the skills you need to live a more fulfilling and connected life.

My Therapy Approach
My counselling approach is eclectic, allowing me to adapt strategies based on the specific needs of each individual.
During your sessions, we'll choose the best approach for you and your specific needs.
Just a hint at some of the healing therapies I use:
To heal family trauma, we may work on re-parenting your inner child.
For family and individual therapy, we'll explore 'parts work' to understand your inner self.
To manage anxiety, we can use exposure therapy to build confidence.
For depression or short-term counselling, we may use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to find effective solutions.
As part of trauma therapy, we'll work on widening your window of tolerance and incorporate somatic therapies to reconnect your mind and body.
Above all, together we'll use the therapy that suits you!
I have a special interest in couple's therapy and in healing inner child wounds. Many people are raised by mothers who have their own unhealed attachment wounds which they project onto their children. Sometimes in order to break negative cycles clients have to choose limited, or no contact with their family of origin and I can support you through this painful process. Cycle breakers can often feel very alone in this struggle, but I can help you feel support and validation for this difficult journey.
I use attachment theory and Gottman principles to guide my couples counselling. I have had success with couples who had never had counselling before and those who had been to see many counsellors.
Whatever journey you are on, I can help you navigate a way forward.
